Another job well done, Uxbridge!

Our snow sculpture event this past weekend was another huge success thanks to your attendance and creativity.  Volunteers from The Uxbridge Arts Association did an amazing job providing snow sculpture ideas, fresh-baked cookies, hot apple juice and coffee, and helping to build the sculptures (pictures on their way!).

The event was such big news that three local newspapers joined us for the fun and took pictures. You have all made these events such huge news that the Mayor and several Councillors came out to join the 60++ children and adults who creatively designed and shaped a sea of one-of-a-kind snow sculptures on the lawn of Siloam Hall.

Canadian Tire – Uxbridge once again very generously donated 6 pairs of children’s mitts/gloves as our draw prizes for the event. Congrats to Sam & Charlie, Tanner, Lisa,  Mark & Griffen and Karen!!! Continue reading for pictures from this event and info on our upcoming curling event!

Our next exciting event is curling at The Uxbridge Curling Club on Friday January 28! Our 2pm slot is FULL, so sign up quick for our 3pm availability! Visit our homepage for registration. For anyone that has registered for this event, you MUST have clean indoor shoes to wear. Anyone arriving without indoor shoes will not be allowed on the ice for any reason! 🙁
